Red River Bread (for bread maker)

Halfway through New Year's Day I started feeling really sick. By 7:30pm I was in bed and by 10:00 I was in the bathroom sicker than ever! I slept off and on all night, up a couple times to hurl my guts out, but when I woke up at 8:30 with Maddox I was feeling better. By supper time I was starving and as I was looking through our freezer of something to make for supper I realized we were out of bread. So being handy my little helper and I dusted off my bread maker and looked up my favourite recipe!

Red River Bread (For Bread Maker)

Cook Time: 38 mins

Ingredients (1 loaf (24 slices))
  • 1 1/3 cups water
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 1/2 cups White Flour
  • 1 1/3 cups Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup Red River cereal
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp bread machine yeast
Instructions
1. SELECT loaf size.
2. ADD ingredients to machine according to manufacturer’s directions.
3. SELECT Whole Wheat, Rapid or Regular Cycle.
