Apple Crisp for Two

When the weather starts to turn cold and crisp, there is only one thing that comes to my mind. Comfort food. This dish is my favorite to make in the fall. It smells amazing, and tastes oh so good and just reminds me of Mom's cooking!

Apple Crisp for two (or more)

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
    Filling
    • 3 medium apples, peeled, cored and chopped into small pieces
    • 1-2 tbsp brown sugar
    • 1-2 tsp cinnamon
    Topping
    • 1 cup brown sugar
    • 1 cup quick oates
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
    Instructions
    Preheat oven to 350F.
    Place apples in a greased dish, sprinkle the brown sugar and cinnamon ontop. Lightly toss to coat the apples evenly.
    In a seperate bowl, combine brown sugar, oats, flour and cinnamon. Cut in the butter and stir until it resembles crumbs.
    Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake for 35-40 minutes.
